Python-tesseract is an optical character recognition (OCR) tool for python. That is, it will recognize and “read” the text embedded in images.

1. Install tesseract using windows installer available at: https://github.com/UB-Mannheim/tesseract/wiki #2. Note the tesseract path from the installation.
